Rheumatry, the Iranian Rheumatology Registry, was established in 2016. It was funded by Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education and has been developed and maintained by Rheumatology Research Center (RRC).
The Rheumatry mission is to promote research and new discovery in the field of rheumatic diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Systemic Sclerosis (SSc), and Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). We believe that with the cooperation of patients, families, physicians, and researchers we can ameliorate patients’ health and quality of life.
We have established a registry system for hospitals, research centers, laboratories, and physicians to register their patients with rheumatic diseases. In this fashion, we have connected several hospitals, laboratories, and research centers. In addition, our Rheumatry committee is open to receive and review the submitted research projects concerned with the rheumatic diseases.

Rheumatry start to reframe, develop, and test new registry forms based on the local and global experiences. Several meeting among different type of specialists are conducted during this phase.
The first online platform comes out in 2018. It support registration of majority of rheumatic diseases.
